The volume of investments in the fixed assets of agriculture of Kazakhstan has been increased by 21.1% and amounted to 25.5 billion tenge, Vice Minister of Agriculture Gulmira Issayeva has said during a press conference in the CCS.
“The volume of gross agricultural output in the first quarter 2016 in comparison with the same period 2015 has been increased by 2.9% and amounted to 317.8 billion tenge. This growth was achieved by increasing the volume of livestock production by 3% (303.6 billion tenge)”, Issayeva has said.
At the same time, according to her, the volume of investments in fixed capital of agriculture has been increased by 21.1% and amounted to 25.5 billion tenge.
Currently, the regions of the south, east and west Kazakhstan conduct the spring-field works.
According to the data of the regional departments of agriculture, as of May 16, 2016 all regions of the country have completed the closing of moisture except for Aktobe region.
Mrs. Issayeva has recalled that this year the sown area of crops amounts to 21.6 million hectares.
Also, according to the agency, the implementation of the project “Development of export potential of cattle meat” is still continued. During the 1st quarter of 2016 under “Sybaga” program the purchase of 10 thousand heads of cattle has been credited. The breed transformation involves more than 11 thousand farms covering 773 thousand of cattle. The work on the development of pastures is continued.
